Requirements for Indian People To Visit Hong Kong For Business and Family Visit
Requirements: Usually for people from India (i.e. Indian citizens) to visit Hong Kong, the requirement is lax, and the applicant need to complete a pre-arrival registration (PAR) before entering HK.
Usually there are two different objectives for a Hong Kong visa application. One is for business purpose, and the other is for a casual visit (as a tourist). For an Indian applicant of the HK visa, she must be aware of the required documents.
Business visit visa
For abusiness visit visa, a visa application form must be completed with all the correct information of the applicant. The form must be signed by the applicant. A visa must be applied before entering Hong Kong. The applicant must supply a copy of the sponsoring business (or company) registration certificate, a copy of the invitation letter from the sponsoring company, a cover letter stating the name, the current designation, the stay schedule, the expenses (while staying in HK), and more of the applicant. The applicant should provide her financial statements i.e. salary slips, tax receipts, bank statements, etc, a copy of hotel bookings, a copy of transportation or flight itinerary, etc.
Most importantly, the applicant must provide a copy of the first and last page of her passport. The applicant must know that if she fails to enter accurate information when applying for her PAR, it may lead to her application being invalid.
Family visit visa
For afamily visit visa, a visa application form must be completed with all the correct information of the applicant. A cover letter stating the name and the journey schedule of the applicant must be provided. The applicant should supply a copy of a certificate that serves as a proof of relationship with the family member she is going to visit during her stay in Hong Kong. Usually a photocopy of marriage certificatewhich shows the name of a spouse, or a photocopy of birth certificate showing the name of a parent should be sufficient for proof. The applicant should always supply her financial statements which may be tax receipts, employment proof, bank statements, salary slips, employment contract,or other. The applicant must submit a copy of the first and last page of her passport, a copy of transportation arrangement (e.g. flight itinerary).
The applicant needs the sponsor to prepare documents including a copy of the invitation letter, a visa application form (that is required to be filled by the sponsor), acopy of the passport of the sponsor alongside the Hong Kong ID card of the sponsor. The sponsor must also provide a copy of financial statements (i.e. tax receipts, employment proof, salary slips, bank statements etc) and a copy of residential address in Hong Kong (i.e. electricity bill, phone bill, lease agreement that has the address).
